A three-flame pilot burner provides the small, steady flames that ignite the main burners on professional gas appliances. Each flame is fed by a separate gas jet, allowing the operator to light one, two or all three burners at once without cross-flame or delay. The burner sits beneath the appliance's hob, where its heat and spark are directed into the main burner ports through a bracket that holds it in the correct position.

The operator turns the appliance's gas valve to the pilot setting, then presses the ignition button or strikes a spark above the pilot burner. Once the pilot flames are alight, the main gas valve is opened and the larger burners light instantly. No external lighter is needed, and the pilot remains lit while the appliance is in use, ready to re-light the main burners if they blow out.

This LF burner is supplied with a three-position bracket that clamps to the appliance frame, ensuring the jets align precisely with the main burner ports. The jets themselves are sized for multigas use, accepting natural gas, propane or butane without adjustment. Each jet has an internal diameter of 0.20 mm, which meters the gas flow to produce a small, stable flame that stays lit even in a busy kitchen.
