A professional gas stove designed for simultaneous cooking, heating, or warming of different dishes. The GAR12 from Roller-grill provides two independent burners, each generating controlled flame for precise heat management. Gas flows through injectors calibrated for either natural gas or LPG, ignited by a Piezo spark that eliminates the need for external lighters or matches. Safety thermocouples monitor the flame continuously; if it extinguishes, the gas supply shuts off automatically to prevent leaks.
The operator places pots or pans on the cast iron grids, which distribute heat evenly across the base. Each burner has its own adjustment knob, allowing one to simmer a sauce while the other sears meat. A stainless steel reducer is included to stabilise smaller saucepans that might otherwise tip on the wide grids. When fitted with a separate cast iron plate, the stove doubles as a griddle, expanding its use to flat-top cooking.
To start, the operator turns the knob to the ignition position, presses to generate the Piezo spark, then adjusts to the desired flame height. The idle position between off and low prevents accidental ignition. Once cooking is complete, the flame is turned off and the stove left to cool before cleaning.
The stove is constructed from stainless steel for the body and burner housings, with cast iron grids and burner crowns that withstand high heat. All removable parts—grids, crowns, and the stainless steel reducer—can be lifted out for thorough cleaning. The stove's compact footprint fits onto worktops in restaurants, food trucks, kiosks, and bakeries, while its weight ensures stability without permanent fixing.
Power is split between the two burners, allowing one high-output and one moderate-output flame to run concurrently. The dimensions provide a balance between cooking surface and floor space, and the weight permits easy relocation when kitchen layouts change. The stove arrives ready for natural gas, with LPG injectors supplied for conversion if needed.
Cleaning involves removing the grids and burner crowns, washing them in hot soapy water, and wiping down the stainless steel surfaces. The Piezo ignition and thermocouples require no maintenance beyond keeping the ports free of grease and debris.
The GAR12 is positioned in the catalogue under professional gas cooking equipment, alongside other Roller-grill stoves and griddles.
