A straight push-fit connection joins flexible tubing to fixed pipework without tools or clamps. The John Guest system uses a collet that grips the tube when it is pushed into the fitting; pulling the collet releases the tube instantly. This method eliminates threading, soldering or compression rings, so installation and maintenance are faster and require no specialist skills.

The operator inserts the tube into the fitting until it bottoms out, then pulls the collet to lock it in place. To disconnect, the collet is pushed back while the tube is withdrawn. No heat, no sealant and no torque settings are needed, which reduces the risk of leaks or cross-threading in a busy kitchen.

This LF connection is manufactured to fit appliances from CELLI, CEM Industries and John Guest. It is used where water, compressed air or low-pressure steam lines must be connected and disconnected repeatedly during service or cleaning.

The fitting is compatible with the brands listed in the catalogue under plumbing accessories for professional catering equipment.
