A stainless steel work table with an under-shelf provides a hygienic, stable surface for food preparation, plating and assembly in professional kitchens, catering operations and food production areas. The table stands on four legs joined by cross-bracing for rigidity. A raised edge around the worktop prevents spills from dripping onto the floor, and the smooth stainless steel surface allows quick wiping between tasks. The under-shelf is set at a height that leaves clearance for standard storage bins or trays, so the operator can slide items in and out without lifting.

Assembly begins by unfolding the legs and securing them with the supplied screws. The worktop is then lowered onto the frame and fastened. Once assembled, the table remains in place during service, supporting continuous use without wobble or flex. When the shift ends, the surface is wiped down with a sanitising solution and the shelf is cleared of any loose items.

The table is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel throughout. The worktop is reinforced with a laminated board to prevent sagging under load, while the legs and cross-bracing are made from 40×40 mm steel profiles for strength. A 40 mm raised edge runs around the perimeter of the worktop, and all joints are screwed for stability.

The overall dimensions of 1200 mm long, 700 mm deep and 850 mm high create a footprint that fits between standard kitchen aisles and under most extractor canopies. The 850 mm height places the worktop at a comfortable level for standing tasks, and the 700 mm depth allows two operators to work opposite each other if needed.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, followed by a sanitiser. The raised edge and smooth underside of the shelf prevent dirt from collecting, so daily maintenance is limited to surface cleaning. The folding construction allows the table to be disassembled for deep cleaning or relocation, and the screw-together legs ensure the frame remains square during reassembly.

The table is supplied as a single unit with all necessary screws and assembly instructions. No additional tools are required beyond a screwdriver for the leg screws.
