The stainless steel table for the Gredil sink is a budget-class solution for professional kitchens. Foldable construction for easy transport and installation.
A stainless steel work surface and integrated sink combine in one compact unit for food preparation, washing and draining. The table holds ingredients, utensils and equipment at a comfortable working height while the bowl provides a dedicated space for rinsing, soaking or cleaning small items without splashing the surrounding area.
The worktop is a flat sheet of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to moisture, acids and cleaning chemicals. A laminated reinforcement beneath the surface prevents flexing under load, ensuring the table remains stable when chopping, mixing or placing heavy pots. The sink is formed from the same material, deep enough to submerge larger pans yet shallow enough to allow easy reach. A single tap hole is pre-cut to accept a standard mixer tap, so water temperature and flow can be controlled from one point.
To use the table, position it on a level floor near a water supply and waste outlet. The legs are bolted together for stability and can be adjusted if the floor is uneven. Place ingredients or utensils on the worktop, fill the sink with water as needed, and operate the tap. After use, empty the sink, wipe down the surfaces with a damp cloth and detergent, and allow to air-dry. The flat rim around the worktop prevents spills from dripping onto the floor, and the smooth finish of the stainless steel allows quick cleaning without trapping food particles.
Construction is entirely from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, including the worktop, sink, rim and legs. The legs are made from 40 × 40 mm square profiles joined with screws, providing a rigid frame that resists wobble during use. The worktop has a 40 mm high flat rim on all sides, creating a raised edge that contains spills and supports stacked trays or containers.
Controls are limited to the tap hole, which accepts a standard mixer tap with a 33 mm diameter fitting. The tap is not supplied with the table, allowing the operator to choose a model that matches the kitchen's water pressure and temperature requirements.
The overall dimensions of 600 × 600 × 850 mm give a footprint that fits into tight spaces while providing a work surface at a standard height for standing tasks. The 400 × 400 × 250 mm sink offers sufficient volume for washing vegetables, rinsing small equipment or soaking utensils without overcrowding. The corrosion-resistant material ensures the table withstands daily exposure to water, detergents and food acids, while the laminated reinforcement prevents sagging under the weight of heavy items. The flat rim simplifies cleaning by eliminating sharp corners where dirt could collect, and the smooth surface allows quick wipe-down between tasks.
Cleaning involves wiping the worktop and sink with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use, then drying to prevent water spots. The stainless steel surface resists staining and does not absorb odours, so regular cleaning maintains hygiene without specialised products. The tap hole should be checked periodically to ensure the mixer tap remains secure and does not leak.
The table is supplied as a flat-pack for assembly on site, with legs that bolt together and a worktop that attaches to the frame. This design simplifies transport and storage, allowing the unit to be moved through narrow doorways or stored in compact spaces when not in use.
The product is categorised under stainless steel work tables with integrated sinks, suitable for professional kitchens, catering operations and food production areas where hygiene and durability are essential.
