A spray nozzle threads directly onto the outlet of a catering tap, converting a solid stream into a fine, even spray. The water passes through a small orifice and a diffuser plate, breaking the flow into droplets that cover a wider area without splashing. This pattern is essential for rinsing glassware, washing salad leaves or cooling hot pans without disturbing the contents.
To fit the nozzle, the operator unscrews any existing outlet fitting, aligns the M10x1 male thread with the tap's female thread, and tightens it by hand until it seats firmly. No tools are required. Once installed, the tap handle is opened to the desired flow; the nozzle then shapes the water into the spray pattern. The same handle closes the flow when the task is complete.
The nozzle is a spare part designed to replace worn or damaged units on taps and spray arms used in professional kitchens. It fits equipment from the LF range and other makes that specify an M10x1 thread pitch.
Cleaning is limited to the external surfaces: a quick wipe with a damp cloth removes any limescale or food residue. If the orifice becomes blocked, a soft brush or a soak in warm water with a mild descaler restores the spray pattern without damaging the thread.
