A solenoid valve controls the flow of steam, water or gas in professional catering equipment by converting an electrical signal into mechanical movement. When the coil is energised, it creates a magnetic field that pulls a plunger away from the valve seat, opening the passage. When the current stops, a spring returns the plunger, closing the valve and stopping the flow. This on-off action allows precise timing and automation of processes such as filling, draining or switching between heating and cooling circuits without manual intervention.
The operator connects the valve to the equipment's control circuit and to the fluid line. Once installed, the valve opens or closes in response to the programmed sequence: a timer, thermostat or manual switch sends the electrical signal, and the valve responds instantly. No adjustment is needed during use; the valve either permits full flow or shuts it off completely.
This two-way, 180° solenoid valve is constructed for compatibility with Fagor professional catering appliances. It is a direct replacement part, matching the original specifications for connection size, pressure rating and electrical requirements.
Cleaning and upkeep are limited to keeping the valve free of debris that could obstruct the plunger or seat. Regular inspection of the coil and connections ensures reliable operation, particularly in environments where steam or water may cause corrosion.
The valve fits Fagor equipment models requiring a solenoid valve of this type and configuration.
