A buffet display unit presents chilled or ambient dishes at counter height without refrigeration. The KIRA model from Casselin holds three porcelain bowls on a painted steel tray, allowing guests to serve themselves while the bowls remain stable and visible. The unit does not chill; it simply organises the bowls in a single line for easy access and clear presentation.
The operator places the three porcelain bowls into the tray recesses, fills them with salads, dips, condiments or desserts, and positions the unit on a buffet table or worktop. The bowls sit level, preventing spills, and the low 240 mm height keeps the display within reach of guests. Stainless steel feet raise the tray slightly, protecting the surface underneath from heat or moisture.
The frame is black epoxy painted steel, chosen for its resistance to scratches and ease of wiping. The porcelain bowls are smooth and non-porous, allowing quick cleaning between uses. The feet are stainless steel, which resists corrosion and supports the 2.5 kg weight without bending.
The 650 mm width accommodates three 190 mm bowls side by side, leaving a small gap for serving spoons. The 230 mm depth fits neatly on standard buffet tables without overhang. The 240 mm height keeps the display low enough for guests to reach comfortably while standing. The 2.5 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by hand between storage and service areas.
Cleaning involves removing the bowls, wiping the steel tray with a damp cloth, and washing the porcelain bowls separately. The epoxy finish does not require polishing, and the stainless steel feet can be wiped dry to prevent water marks.
The CPB1K is a single model with no variants. It is catalogued under buffet equipment and counter service accessories.
