A single-pole push button closes one electrical circuit when pressed and opens it again when released. In commercial dishwashers, glasswashers and coffee machines it starts the wash cycle or a specific programme step. The button is spring-loaded so it returns to the off position as soon as the operator removes pressure, preventing accidental double starts or continuous running.
The operator loads the machine, closes the door or hood, and presses the button once. The control board receives the momentary signal and initiates the pre-set sequence—fill, heat, wash, rinse, drain—without further intervention. When the cycle finishes, the machine stops automatically; the button does not need to be pressed again to end the programme.
This LF push button is a single-pole, normally-open contact block rated 16 A at 250 V. The rating means it can switch the full current of a typical commercial dishwasher or glasswasher on a 230 V single-phase supply without overheating. The 250 V insulation ensures safe operation on standard mains circuits found in professional kitchens.
The button fits a wide range of ANGELO PO, ARISTARCO, COMENDA, DIHR, HOONVED, ELFRAMO, EMMEPI, LAMBER, KOMEL, GAGGIA, CARIMALI, ASTORIA CMA, IBERITAL, ORCHESTRALE, SPINEL, WEGA and UNOX equipment. Each make and model listed in the compatibility table uses the same physical mounting hole and electrical connection, so the part drops straight into place without modification or additional wiring.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the exposed face with a damp cloth; the internal contacts are sealed against water and detergent spray. Regular inspection for cracks in the button housing or signs of arcing on the terminals helps maintain safe operation.
The product is listed in the catalogue under Dishwasher Spares > Control Components > Push Buttons.
