Stainless steel service trolley with 4 stainless steel shelves
A mobile workstation that carries plated dishes, ingredients and utensils between kitchen and service areas without lifting. The trolley rolls on four large multidirectional wheels that pivot independently, letting the operator steer around tight corners and through narrow doorways without tilting the load. A rubber shock absorber under the lower shelf cushions impacts, keeping stacked plates and glasses stable while the trolley moves across uneven floors or over thresholds.
Four shelves hold up to 150 kg in total, each shelf built from thick stainless steel with rounded edges. The edges prevent snagging on cloths or hands, and the high thickness resists sagging under the weight of full gastronorm trays or stacked crockery. The lower shelf is folded at the front and sides to form a lip that stops items sliding off; the same fold adds stiffness and dampens vibration, so the shelf stays flat and quiet even when the trolley is pushed at speed.
All shelves and the frame are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, a grade chosen for its resistance to corrosion from food acids, cleaning chemicals and steam. The surface can be wiped down between services and sanitised at the end of the day without risk of rust or staining. The wheels are sealed ball-bearing units that require no lubrication and will not mark floors.
The trolley's footprint of 1100 mm by 600 mm fits through standard kitchen doorways and alongside worktops without blocking aisles. At 1300 mm high it clears most pass-through hatches and can be loaded from a standing position, reducing bending. The 150 kg load rating allows the operator to stack multiple trays or heavy pots without exceeding the safe working limit.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the shelves and frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent; the rounded edges and smooth welds leave no crevices where food debris can lodge. The wheels can be cleaned with a brush or steam lance without disassembly.
