Stainless steel service trolley for GN1/1 containers
A service trolley moves hot or plated dishes from the kitchen to the pass or dining area without carrying them by hand. The unit rolls on multidirectional wheels, so it turns in tight corridors and passes through standard doorways. The upper shelf is sized for gastronorm containers, keeping food organised and preventing spills while the trolley is in motion. A folded, soundproofed lower shelf reduces noise and holds additional items such as cutlery, napkins or condiments.
The trolley is loaded by placing up to three GN1/1 containers on the upper shelf or two GN1/1 containers if they are deeper. The lower shelf takes trays, boxes or loose items up to the stated weight. Rubber shock absorbers cushion the load when the trolley crosses thresholds or uneven floors, protecting both the trolley and the dishes. The operator pushes the trolley to the service point, where the containers are removed and the trolley is returned empty or reloaded for the next run.
The frame and shelves are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion from food acids and cleaning chemicals. The folded edges of the lower shelf add rigidity and prevent items from sliding off. Four multidirectional wheels, each 125 mm in diameter, allow the trolley to be steered in any direction without lifting or twisting. The wheels are fitted with brakes to hold the trolley in place during loading and unloading.
The dimensions of 1100 mm long, 620 mm wide and 970 mm high give the trolley a footprint that fits through standard kitchen doorways and alongside workstations. The 100 kg maximum load capacity allows the trolley to carry multiple containers of hot food, stacked plates or bulk ingredients without straining the frame or wheels. The stainless steel construction and sealed edges simplify cleaning; the trolley can be wiped down with a damp cloth or sprayed with sanitiser between uses, and the soundproofed lower shelf does not trap food debris.
The trolley is supplied without containers, so it can be used with existing gastronorm pans or trays. It is listed in the FORCAR mobile service equipment section of the catalogue.
