The Roller-grill SBM40C is a marmite buffet designed for professional catering environments. This heated buffet bar operates using a bain-marie system to maintain the temperature of hot food.

The bain-marie system involves heating water within a tank, which then gently heats the food contained in gastronorm pans placed within it. This method keeps food warm without direct contact with a heating element, preventing scorching and preserving texture. The SBM40C features a stainless steel tank equipped with two heating elements to efficiently heat the water. A draining device is integrated into the tank for straightforward emptying and cleaning.

To use the SBM40C, the stainless steel tank is filled with water and heated to the desired temperature, which can be set between 20 °C and 90 °C. Gastronorm containers, up to 150 mm deep, are then filled with hot starters, vegetables, meats, or fish and placed into the heated water. The buffet bar has a capacity for 4/1 GN containers.

Construction includes a wooden buffet with a mirror and an underbody for plate storage. It has brushed stainless steel posterns, a glass top, and a central shelf. The unit is supported by 4 double castors, two of which have brakes for stability. White-cold LED lighting illuminates the display area.

The power rating of 3 kW indicates the maximum electrical load the unit will draw from the supply. The dimensions are 1495 mm in length, 855 mm in width, and 1405 mm in height. Weighing 83 kg, its castors facilitate movement, with brakes for secure positioning.

Cleaning and maintenance are made easier by the direct access to the bain-marie tank and its draining device. The unit is available in several wood finishes: light oak, mahogany, wenge, or limed white.
