The Roller-grill Cold Buffet Bar SBC40F is a self-service display unit designed for food presentation. This buffet bar features a wooden construction with an underbody for plate storage and posterns finished in brushed stainless steel.

The operating principle of this type of cold buffet bar involves maintaining a controlled temperature to preserve food. A refrigeration system, utilising R290 refrigerant and a Tecumseh FRANCE compressor, cools a stainless steel plate. A pin in contact with this plate transfers the cold directly to the GN trays and containers placed upon it. An evaporator tube is positioned to be protected from ambient air, optimising cooling efficiency. The unit incorporates automatic defrosting, which occurs every two hours, managed by an electronic thermostat.

Operation begins with loading GN trays and containers, up to 150 mm deep, into the designated capacity of 4/1 GN. The unit is designed for four-sided access, with drop-down shelves on each side. These shelves are constructed with aluminium profiles and are removable, allowing them to pass through standard 0.8 m doors. White-cold LED lighting illuminates the display area. The temperature can be set within a range of +2 °C to +10 °C.

Construction includes a glass top and a central shelf. The unit is mounted on four double castors, two of which are fitted with brakes for stability. Direct access points are provided for straightforward maintenance.

The power consumption is rated at 0.5 kW, operating on a 230 V supply. The overall dimensions are 1445 mm in length, 1445 mm in width, and 1540 mm in height. The unit weighs 99 kg.

Cleaning and upkeep are facilitated by the direct access for maintenance and the removable shelves. The unit is supplied without trays.

Available wood finishes include light oak, mahogany, wenge, and limed white.
