A water-heated buffet keeps serving dishes at a steady temperature without scorching or drying the food. Hot water circulates through a sealed stainless steel tank beneath the wells. Silicone heating elements warm the water evenly, and a digital thermostat holds the set point between 0 °C and 90 °C. The water bath transfers heat gently to the GN containers above, so sauces stay smooth, vegetables keep their texture and meats stay moist during service.

The operator fills the tank with water, connects the unit to a 230 V supply and sets the desired temperature on the digital panel. Once the water reaches the set point, the buffet is ready to receive the GN containers. The wells hold four GN1/1 gastronorm trays, which are lowered into place and left until service ends. A drain tap empties the tank for cleaning or storage.

The frame is stainless steel with adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors. Panelling is available in laminated wood, stainless steel or powder-coated steel in a range of colours. Four reinforced castors—two with brakes—allow the unit to be moved between the kitchen and the dining hall. Optional accessories include foldable dish holders, tray slides, lower compartments with doors and LED lighting modules.

The external footprint of 1496 × 747 mm fits through standard kitchen doorways, while the 260 mm deep wells accommodate full-size GN1/1 containers. The 76.5 kg weight reflects the robust construction and requires two people to move safely. A 2 kW power rating draws a steady load on a dedicated circuit, and the 230 V requirement matches standard UK commercial supplies.

Cleaning involves draining the tank, wiping the stainless steel surfaces and removing any detachable accessories. The rounded edges of the tank prevent food debris from collecting, and the silicone heating elements are sealed against moisture. Optional lower compartments with doors keep stored items clean and organised.

Customisation options include foldable dish holders in laminated wood or stainless steel, removable tray slides, lower compartments with or without fan-assisted heating, and a choice of castor types. The unit can be configured for wall-leaning or island layouts, and adhesive stickers allow for branding or instructional labelling.
