D-shaped pin 6x4.6 mm
A selector switch encoder translates the operator's rotary input into the precise electrical signals that set oven programmes. The encoder sits behind the control knob, registering each click as a digital step. This step-by-step signal tells the oven's logic board which cooking mode, temperature and timer duration to activate, ensuring the fan, heating elements and steam injection follow the chosen programme exactly.
To replace the encoder, the operator first isolates the oven from the mains. The control panel fascia is removed, exposing the rear of the selector knob. The old encoder is unclipped from its mounting bracket and disconnected from the wiring harness. The new LF encoder is connected to the same harness, seated in the bracket, and secured. The fascia is refitted, the oven is powered on, and the selector is tested through its full range to confirm each programme is selected cleanly.
The assembly consists of the encoder module itself, a rotary shaft that mates with the control knob, and a small circuit board that carries the electrical connections. The housing is moulded in heat-resistant plastic, designed to withstand the temperature and humidity inside the control cavity of a convection oven.
This LF encoder is a direct replacement for the selector switch used on the specified Lainox convection oven models. It restores the original control interface without modification to the oven's wiring or software.
Fits Lainox convection ovens: LBGT102, NAEB071, NAEB072, NAEB101, NAEB102, NAEB201, NAEB202, NAEV071, NAEV072, NAEV101, NAEV102, NAEV201, NAEV202, NAGB071, NAGB072, NAGB101, NAGB102, NAGB201, NAGB202, NAGV072, NAGV101, NAGV102, NAGV201, NAGV202.
