A saucer rack organises small, flat tableware so the wash cycle reaches every surface. In a professional dishwasher or cupwasher, the rack sits on the machine's sliding tray or pegged base. Water jets from above and below pass through the gaps between the saucers, removing soil without trapping it. The same principle applies to cupwashers, where the rack holds saucers upright so the spray arms can rotate freely without obstruction.
The operator loads saucers one at a time into the slots, tilting them slightly to prevent nesting. Once the rack is full, it slides into the machine on the tray or pegs provided. After the wash programme finishes, the rack is pulled out and the saucers are lifted clear, still warm and ready for immediate use or storage.
Construction is a grid of coated wire that resists corrosion and withstands repeated thermal shock. The coating prevents metal marks on glazed surfaces and reduces noise when the rack is moved.
This LF saucer rack fits a wide range of professional dishwashers and cupwashers from ARISTARCO, DESCO, ELFRAMO, EMMEPI, KOMEL, MBM, PROJECT SYSTEMS and UNIVERBAR. The compatibility list includes under-counter, hood-type and pass-through models, ensuring the rack can be used across different machine configurations in the same kitchen.
Cleaning is limited to rinsing under a tap or running the rack through an empty wash cycle to remove detergent residue. The wire grid dries quickly, preventing water spots and reducing the risk of bacterial growth between uses.
The catalogue places this item under dishwasher accessories, alongside plate racks, cutlery baskets and glass holders.
