Electric sauce warmer with water bath. Capacity 6 x 4,5 liters
A bain-marie keeps sauces, gravies and soups at serving temperature without scorching by circulating gentle, even heat around sealed wells. The dry-heating element beneath the stainless-steel base warms the air inside the cabinet; that air transfers heat to the steel containers, which in turn warm the contents without direct contact between element and food. This indirect method prevents hot spots and allows precise control over the temperature, so delicate emulsions stay stable and stocks remain clear.
To use the unit, place the six 4.5 L stainless-steel containers into the wells and fill them with prepared sauces or liquids. Fit the matching lids to reduce evaporation. Set the adjustable thermostat anywhere between 30 °C and 90 °C, depending on the viscosity and holding time required. Switch the appliance on; the element cycles on and off to maintain the chosen temperature. Once the contents reach the set point, the bain-marie holds them ready for service, freeing the hob for active cooking.
The entire cabinet is fabricated from stainless steel for durability and hygiene. The six wells sit side by side in a single row, each with its own lid. An adjustable thermostat on the front panel controls the dry-heating element, allowing the operator to select the exact holding temperature needed. A 1.2 kW power rating draws a modest load on a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most professional kitchens. The 750 mm width fits neatly on a worktop or counter, while the 18 kg weight allows two staff to reposition it without a trolley.
Cleaning follows from the construction: remove the containers and lids, wash them in a sink or dishwasher, then wipe down the stainless-steel cabinet with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The dry-heating element requires no descaling, and the absence of water in the cabinet eliminates the risk of mineral build-up.
