Rotary vane pump LF L1330002

This rotary vane pump circulates water in espresso machines by using sliding vanes within a rotating rotor. The vanes extend to the chamber walls, forming compartments that pull water in and expel it under consistent pressure. The design avoids the pulsation typical of piston pumps, providing a smooth flow for espresso extraction.

Installation requires the machine to be switched off and the boiler emptied before the existing pump is removed. The Rotoflow unit replaces it, with the 3/8" NPT inlet and outlet connected to the water lines. After securing the fittings and restoring power, the machine is refilled. The pump primes automatically as it draws water from the supply, and a brief flush removes any trapped air before use.

Constructed from cast metal, the pump contains a rotor and vanes operating in a precisely machined chamber. The 3/8" NPT ports allow direct attachment to standard espresso machine plumbing, typically without additional adaptors or hoses.
