The SEKO 361.998 rinse aid dispenser combines efficiency and precision. Equipped with a peristaltic pump, it ensures a steady flow of rinse aid, guaranteeing sparkling clean and shiny dishes in commercial dishwashers.
A rinse aid dosing pump introduces a measured quantity of rinse aid into the final rinse cycle of a commercial dishwasher. The pump draws the chemical from a reservoir and injects it into the water line, where it mixes with the hot rinse water. This lowers the surface tension of the water, allowing it to sheet off crockery and glassware rather than form droplets that dry into spots. The process relies on a small electric motor that drives a peristaltic or diaphragm mechanism, ensuring consistent flow without contamination of the chemical supply.
The operator connects the pump to the dishwasher's rinse line, fills the reservoir with rinse aid, and sets the desired delivery rate. Once the dishwasher reaches the rinse phase, the pump activates automatically, metering the chemical into the water stream. The adjustable flow rate lets the user match the dosage to the water hardness and the type of ware being washed, preventing both waste and poor drying performance.
Construction is a compact plastic housing that mounts inside the dishwasher cupboard or on the worktop. The 230 VAC supply plugs into a standard British kitchen circuit, drawing minimal current. Accessories supplied with the unit include the necessary tubing, fittings and mounting hardware for immediate installation.
The 0-0.7 L/h flow range covers the typical requirements of professional under-counter and hood-type dishwashers. A 230 VAC rating means the pump runs on the same single-phase supply as the dishwasher itself, simplifying electrical installation in a busy kitchen.
Cleaning involves periodic inspection of the tubing for kinks or chemical build-up and occasional wiping of the housing to remove dust and splashes. The reservoir should be topped up before it runs empty to avoid air entering the pump mechanism.
This model is a direct replacement for SEKO rinse aid pumps used in LF and other commercial dishwasher brands.
