+2°C / +8°C Glass door refrigerated cabinet. Delivery time ~ 2 weeks
A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled food visible while maintaining safe temperatures. The unit circulates cold air inside an insulated chamber, drawing heat away from stored items through a plate evaporator. This static cooling method ensures even distribution without forced airflow, preserving moisture in unwrapped products like pastries or deli items. The cooling gas, R600a, absorbs heat as it evaporates inside the system, then releases it outside through a condenser. Automatic defrosting prevents ice build-up by briefly warming the evaporator at set intervals, while condensed water evaporates without manual drainage, reducing maintenance in busy kitchens.
To use the cabinet, plug it into a 220-240 V supply and allow it to reach the set temperature. Load food onto the four supplied wire grids—three measuring 505x415 mm and one 505x215 mm—arranging items to allow air circulation around each piece. The automatic temperature control maintains the range between +2 °C and +8 °C, suitable for chilled ready-to-eat foods, dairy, or pre-packaged goods. Interior LED lighting illuminates the contents without adding heat, while the glass front provides a clear view for customers or staff. The cabinet operates in ambient temperatures up to +32 °C and 55% relative humidity, making it adaptable to most professional environments.
The exterior combines wood and ABS for durability and aesthetic appeal, available in dark walnut, light walnut, or carbon finishes. The interior walls are white or black, contrasting with the stainless steel grids. A 45 mm insulation layer minimises energy loss, while the 185 W power rating reflects the unit's efficiency in maintaining low temperatures. The cabinet weighs 150 kg, requiring two people or a trolley for movement, and occupies a floor space of 640x610 mm, with an internal storage area of 460x450x1500 mm. Automatic temperature control and defrosting reduce manual adjustments, though regular cleaning of the interior and grids is necessary to prevent odours or bacterial growth.
The KL2791 is designed for static cooling applications where product visibility is essential, such as bakeries, cafés, or delicatessens. Its 340 L capacity accommodates bulk storage while keeping items accessible, and the energy class B rating indicates balanced performance between cooling efficiency and power consumption. The cabinet does not allow door reversal, so installation must account for the fixed hinge side. Maintenance involves wiping down the interior, grids, and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the ABS or wood finish.
