+2°C / +8°C, refrigerated cabinets GN2/1 made of stainless steel.
A ventilated refrigerated cabinet keeps prepared food chilled by circulating cold air evenly around every shelf. The fan draws warm air from the interior, passes it over the evaporator coils to remove heat, and then returns the cooled air through a concealed duct. This continuous airflow prevents hot spots and maintains a uniform temperature throughout the cabinet, making it suitable for holding plated dishes, prepped ingredients or buffet items at safe serving temperatures.
The operator loads gastronorm trays onto the three supplied GN2/1 grids, sets the digital thermostat between +2 °C and +8 °C, and closes the door. The electronic control starts the compressor and fan, while the automatic defrost cycle activates at intervals to melt any frost on the evaporator without manual intervention. A heating element around the door frame stops condensation forming, and a collecting basin beneath the evaporator evaporates the defrost water so no external drain is needed. The internal LED light switches on when the door opens, and the lock secures the contents overnight.
The cabinet is built from AISI 304 stainless steel inside and out, with a galvanised steel back and bottom panel for durability. The 60 mm insulation keeps the cold in and energy use low. Rounded internal corners and a tool-free door gasket simplify cleaning. The door can be reversed to open left or right, and the height-adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors.
A 260 W power rating means the cabinet draws a modest load on a standard 220–240 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most professional kitchens. The 507 L volume provides space for up to three full-size GN2/1 trays on each of the three grids, while the external footprint of 680 x 810 mm fits through standard doorways and leaves room for adjacent worktops. The 155 kg weight requires two people or a trolley to move the unit into position.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing the door gasket for thorough cleaning, and checking the collecting basin beneath the evaporator to ensure it is clear. The automatic defrost system reduces manual maintenance, but the evaporator coils should be inspected periodically for dust build-up.
The cabinet is supplied with three GN2/1 grids and three pairs of slides, ready to accept standard gastronorm trays. It is classified in the catalogue under refrigerated storage for professional kitchens.
