Refrigerated cabinets made of stainless steel +2°C / +8°C; -18°C / -22°C
A static refrigerated cabinet keeps two GN2/1 gastronorm pans chilled without forced air currents that can dry food. The refrigerating unit sits in the upper compartment, drawing heat from the air inside. A fan then circulates that cooled air evenly across both compartments, so every shelf holds the same temperature. The static method avoids dehydration and weight loss in uncovered items like salads, pastries or plated desserts, while still reaching the low temperatures needed for safe storage of meats, dairy and prepared dishes. The operator loads the pans onto the six supplied grids, each pair sliding on runners for easy access. An electronic thermostat with digital display lets the kitchen set one of two temperature ranges: a chill range between -2 °C and +8 °C for fresh ingredients, or a frozen range between -18 °C and -22 °C for longer-term storage. Once the temperature is chosen, the cabinet maintains it automatically. A heating element around the door frame stops condensation forming when the warm kitchen air meets the cold door, and a drip tray beneath collects any water that does appear. Automatic defrosting melts ice from the evaporator without manual intervention, and the resulting water drains into a collecting basin inside the cabinet. The door is reversible, self-closing on a spring, and locks with a key. The interior is lined with stainless steel AISI 304, the same grade used for worktops and sinks, so it resists corrosion from food acids and cleaning chemicals. The external back and bottom panels are galvanised steel, while the door gasket pulls out without tools for quick replacement. Rounded corners inside and out make cleaning easier, and the cabinet stands on adjustable feet to level it on uneven floors. A power rating of 260 W in chill mode and 510 W in frozen mode shows the load on the electrical circuit. The cabinet runs on a standard 220-240 V single-phase supply, the same as most kitchen appliances, so it plugs into a typical commercial socket without special wiring. The external dimensions of 1340 mm wide, 830 mm deep and 2010 mm high determine the space it occupies on the floor, while the internal compartments of 560 mm by 530 mm by 1386 mm high each hold one GN2/1 pan. The total weight of 219 kg means the cabinet is moved with a trolley or pallet jack, not carried by hand. The seamless stainless-steel interior and rounded corners let you wipe condensation and spills straight into the integrated drip tray without disassembling shelves. The stainless steel interior wipes down with a damp cloth and food-safe sanitiser. The extractable door gasket rinses under a tap, and the drip tray empties without tools. The collecting basin for defrost water is accessible from inside the cabinet, so it is checked and emptied during routine cleaning. The six grids and slides remove for thorough washing in a sink or dishwasher. The G-GN1200DT is a dual-temperature cabinet, offering both chill and frozen storage in one unit. It is placed in the catalogue under refrigerated cabinets for gastronorm pans.
