This static refrigerated cabinet maintains perishable goods at a consistent low temperature without forced air. Heat from stored items is absorbed by the cooling plate and transferred via refrigerant gas, which cycles through evaporation and condensation to release heat outside, preserving the internal temperature range.

Connect the unit to a standard power supply and adjust the thermostat to a temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C. The automatic defrost system periodically removes ice from the cooling plate, evaporating melted water without manual input. An interior LED light activates when the door opens, revealing three adjustable grids: two full-width shelves at 505 by 415 mm and one half-width shelf at 505 by 215 mm. The single door, equipped with a handle, can be reversed to open from either side for versatile placement.

The exterior is constructed from white epoxy-coated sheet metal, with galvanised steel panels at the rear and bottom for enhanced durability. The interior liner is polystyrene, selected for its insulating efficiency. A 45 mm insulation layer minimises heat transfer, reducing energy use to 185 W. The cabinet measures 600 by 585 by 1855 mm externally, fitting through standard doorways, while the 340-litre internal volume accommodates busy service periods. Weighing 81 kg, the unit can be relocated by two people using a trolley.

Designed for chilled storage, the +2 °C to +8 °C range preserves fresh ingredients without freezing. The R600a refrigerant gas is both eco-friendly and efficient, supporting the unit's B energy class rating. The 220-240 V voltage requirement aligns with standard UK commercial power supplies, simplifying installation.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior with a mild detergent and warm water, avoiding abrasive materials that could harm the polystyrene surface. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the door seal should be inspected regularly to ensure it remains clean and intact. Automatic defrost and water evaporation systems remove the need for manual drainage, reducing upkeep.

The cabinet includes three grids for flexible storage organisation. The reversible door can be set during installation to suit kitchen layout, and the LED light ensures clear visibility without adding heat inside the unit.
