+2°C / +8°C One door refrigerated cabinet. Delivery time ~ 2 weeks
This refrigerated cabinet is designed for professional kitchens, circulating chilled air to maintain a steady temperature just above freezing. A compressor removes heat from the interior, while a plate evaporator ensures even cooling across the shelves. The system operates continuously, preventing temperature fluctuations that can affect food quality and texture, unlike domestic fridges that cycle on and off and allow wider temperature swings.
To operate the FORCAR Eco Line G-ER400, connect it to a 220-240 V power supply and adjust the thermostat to the required temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C. Arrange the four included wire grids—three full-width and one half-width—with prepared food, shut the single door, and rely on the automatic defrost and condensed-water evaporation systems. The cabinet will maintain the set temperature provided the surrounding environment stays below +32 °C and 55% relative humidity.
The exterior is constructed from durable painted steel, while the interior features an ABS plastic liner for straightforward cleaning. A 45 mm layer of insulation between the outer and inner surfaces minimises heat transfer, reducing the compressor's workload. The door can be fitted to open from either side to match the kitchen layout, with a reversible handle simplifying the adjustment.
With a 340-litre capacity, the cabinet accommodates bulk storage of prepped ingredients or plated dishes. Its 600 mm width and 585 mm depth align with standard worktop spacing. Weighing 81 kg, the unit requires a trolley for movement but can be positioned by two people once in place. The 150 W power consumption is relatively low for a cabinet of this size, thanks to the efficiency of the R600a refrigerant and the thick insulation.
Maintenance involves wiping the ABS interior with a mild detergent, removing the wire grids for separate cleaning, and periodically checking that the automatic defrost drain remains unobstructed. The painted steel exterior can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner.
The G-ER400 belongs to the FORCAR Eco Line, which uses R600a refrigerant gas to lower environmental impact. It is rated as energy class C under current standards.
