A flexible PVC tube carries liquids between catering appliances, beverage dispensers and water supply points without rigid joints. The tube slides over barbed connectors and is secured with a clamp, creating a sealed path for water, syrups, cleaning solutions or compressed air. Because the material is smooth and non-porous, it does not trap residues or harbour bacteria, so the same tube can be used for different fluids as long as it is flushed between tasks.
The operator cuts the tube to the length needed, pushes it onto the connector until it bottoms out, then tightens a worm-drive clamp over the barbed section. Once connected, the tube remains in place until the system is dismantled for cleaning or reconfiguration. Its flexibility allows it to bend around corners and through tight spaces behind worktops and cupboards, so it can link appliances that are not aligned.
The tube is made of PVC, a material that resists oils, acids and alkalis found in kitchen cleaning agents and beverage concentrates. It stays pliable across the temperature range of cold water, ambient storage and hot rinse cycles, so it does not crack or become brittle during normal use.
LF PVC tube 4 mm internal diameter is sized to fit standard 4 mm barbed connectors used on many professional beverage dispensers, water filters and small commercial appliances.
Cleaning is limited to flushing with warm water or a mild detergent solution; no disassembly is required unless the tube is visibly soiled or has carried a high-sugar fluid that may leave a residue. Replace the tube when it becomes stiff, discoloured or shows signs of wear at the clamped ends.
