A vibratory pump moves water through professional coffee and vending machines by converting electrical energy into rapid mechanical oscillations. An electromagnetic coil pulls and releases a spring-loaded piston dozens of times each second, creating a pulsating flow that draws cold water from the reservoir and pushes it under pressure towards the boiler or brew group. This method delivers consistent pressure without the noise and wear of a rotary pump, making it the standard for compact, high-volume machines where quiet operation and long service life matter.
To install the pump, the operator connects the inlet and outlet hoses to the matching fittings on the machine, secures the mounting bracket, and plugs the power lead into the 230 V supply. Once the machine is switched on, the pump starts automatically with the brew cycle, drawing water at the rate the coil oscillates. There are no user controls to set; the pump runs whenever the machine calls for water, stopping when the cycle ends.
The pump body is built to fit the specified coffee and vending machines, with inlet and outlet ports sized at 1/8 inch and 6 mm to match the existing plumbing. A 48 W motor draws a light load from a standard single-phase circuit, keeping electrical demand low in a busy kitchen or service area.
Cleaning is limited to periodic checks of the hose connections for leaks and ensuring the inlet filter remains free of scale or debris. The pump itself has no serviceable parts; if performance drops, the unit is replaced rather than repaired.
This vibratory pump is a direct replacement for the original part in the listed models from Astoria, Bezzera, Bianchi, Brasilia, Cimbali, ECM, Elektra, Eloma, Expobar, Fiorenzato, Gaggia, Grimac, Isomac, Krups, La Piccola, Lavazza, Nuova Simonelli, Pavoni, Quick Mill, RDL, Saeco, Scala, Spaziale, SPM, Vibiemme, Victoria Arduino and Wega.
