A pump housing gasket creates a watertight seal between the pump body and its cover in commercial glasswashers and cupwashers. Without this seal, water would leak from the pump housing, reducing pressure and preventing the machine from circulating water through the wash arms. The gasket compresses when the housing bolts are tightened, filling microscopic gaps in the metal surfaces and blocking water at the point where the pump impeller spins.
To replace the gasket, the operator first isolates the machine from the water and power supplies. The pump cover is then unbolted and lifted away, exposing the old gasket. After cleaning the mating surfaces of any debris or scale, the new gasket is positioned in the groove of the pump housing. The cover is refitted and the bolts tightened evenly to the manufacturer's torque specification, restoring the seal and allowing the pump to rebuild pressure for the next wash cycle.
This LF gasket is manufactured to fit the specified HILTA and IME OMNIWASH glasswashers and cupwashers. It is installed in the pump housing of each listed model, ensuring the pump maintains the correct water pressure for effective cleaning and rinsing.
Compatible with HILTA models S22, SB08, SB12 and SB22, and IME OMNIWASH models OMBG400, OMPG400, DUE A-Q, DUE A-T, DUECL, DUECS, J35, J350, J36, J360, J40, J400, J41, J410, JA35, JA350, JA36, JA360, JA40, JA400, JA41, JA410, JOLLYAQ, JOLLYAT, JOLLYQ, JOLLYT, MASTER35, MASTER35PS, MASTER40, MASTER40PS, N350, N40, N400, N41, N410, NA350, NA40, NA400, NA41, NA410, OMBG350, OMPG350, UNO A-T, UNOAQ, UNOCL and UNOCS.
