Pump filter LF L3160187

A pump filter traps debris before it reaches the pump impeller in a commercial glasswasher or cupwasher. Water drawn from the wash tank passes through the filter mesh, leaving food particles, broken glass and other solids behind. This protects the pump from blockages and wear, keeping the spray arms supplied with clean water throughout the wash cycle.

The operator removes the filter basket or cover, lifts out the old filter and drops the new one into place. No tools are needed; the filter sits in a locating ring or cage that holds it centred under the water intake. Once the cover is refastened, the pump draws water through the fresh mesh, restoring full flow and pressure to the wash jets.

This 124 mm diameter filter is made to fit the water circuit of ZANUSSI glasswashers and cupwashers. The mesh size and shape match the pump housing of the listed models, ensuring a secure seal and preventing unfiltered water from bypassing the screen.

Regular replacement keeps the wash performance consistent and reduces strain on the pump motor. A clogged filter slows water movement, lengthens cycle times and can trigger low-pressure alarms. Swapping the filter takes seconds and is part of the routine upkeep for any glasswasher in a busy bar or café.
