A presstube roller is the component that presses the detergent or rinse-aid tube against the peristaltic pump head in a chemical dosing system. The pump head rotates, squeezing the tube in sequence to push precise doses of liquid into the wash tank. Without a firm roller, the tube can slip or collapse, causing under-dosing or no flow at all.

The roller mounts on the pump arm and is turned by the motor. As it rotates, it compresses the tube at each point in turn, creating a moving seal that draws liquid from the container and pushes it forward. The pressure must be even and consistent; too little and the liquid does not move, too much and the tube wears prematurely. The roller's surface is shaped to match the tube's diameter, ensuring a reliable grip without cutting or pinching.

To replace the roller, the operator opens the dispenser cover, lifts the old roller off its spindle, slides the new one into place, and closes the cover. No tools are required, and the pump head does not need to be removed. The tube is re-seated in the track, and the system is ready to resume dosing.

This LF presstube roller is manufactured to fit the specified IME OMNIWASH dishwashers and glasswashers, including the 4000 EVO, J50, J35, J40, Master and Uno ranges. It is a direct replacement for the original part and requires no modification to the dispenser assembly.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the roller surface with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue. No lubrication or adjustment is needed during service life.
