A potato baker uses radiant heat from electric elements to bake whole potatoes evenly without turning. The elements sit above and below the potatoes, so the heat travels through the air and cooks the skins crisp while the insides stay fluffy. This method needs no oil, no basket and no stirring, so the operator loads the potatoes, sets the timer and leaves the appliance to work until the batch is done.
The Bake King Mini holds two trays, each taking 25 potatoes. The operator places the potatoes directly on the trays, closes the door and starts the bake cycle. A single timer controls the duration; when it ends, the elements switch off and the potatoes stay warm inside until they are removed. The door seal keeps the heat in, so the kitchen stays cooler and the potatoes finish at the same time.
The unit is built in stainless steel, with a worktop-height body and a hinged front door. The door opens downwards, giving clear access to both trays at once. The 455 mm width and 505 mm depth fit on a standard worktop or a mobile stand. The 31 kg weight means two people can move it without a trolley, and the 230 V supply plugs into a single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens.
Cleaning is done after each service. The trays lift out so the operator can wipe them and the interior with a damp cloth. The door seal should be checked weekly for food debris, and the elements should be brushed free of any loose skin or seasoning that could burn on.
The Bake King Mini is listed in the Neumarker catalogue under potato bakers, counter-top models.
