Basin size 1/2 GN x 150 mm depth
A modular warming drawer designed to hold deep-fried food at serving temperature without sogginess. The unit uses a low-wattage heating element beneath a perforated stainless-steel insert. Heat rises through the perforations, warming the food from below while allowing excess oil and crumbs to drain away. A thermostatic control keeps the temperature steady between 30 °C and 90 °C, so battered items stay warm without over-cooking or drying out.
To use, the operator slides the perforated insert into the drawer, loads the freshly fried food, and closes the front. The thermostat is set to the desired temperature; pilot lights show when power is on and when the element is heating. Once the drawer is closed, the heat circulates evenly, keeping portions ready for plating or self-service. The splash-proof IPX4 control panel can be wiped down without risk of water ingress.
Construction is a stainless-steel cabinet with a single drawer sized to accept a ½ GN container 150 mm deep. The exterior footprint is 268 mm wide, 351 mm deep and 231 mm high, allowing it to fit on a narrow worktop or under a counter. The unit weighs 6 kg, light enough to be moved by one person during kitchen reorganisation. A 230 V supply is required, suitable for a standard UK single-phase circuit.
Cleaning is straightforward: the perforated insert lifts out for washing in a sink or dishwasher, and the interior can be wiped with a damp cloth to remove any oil residue. An optional heat lamp (article 05-50506) can be mounted above the drawer to add top heat, helping to maintain crispiness for longer periods.
The warmer is listed in the Neumarker catalogue under modular holding equipment for deep-fried food.
