A polypropylene lid designed to seal GN1/6 Gastronorm containers, keeping contents secure during storage and transport in professional kitchens. The lid acts as a barrier against contamination, moisture loss and spillage, while its lightweight material makes handling easier than metal alternatives.

The lid fits over the rim of a standard GN1/6 container, creating a snug seal that maintains food quality without the need for clamps or additional fasteners. Its flat surface allows containers to be stacked, saving space in cupboards, refrigerators and delivery vehicles. The material resists cracking under normal kitchen conditions, though it is not intended for direct heat sources such as ovens or marmites.

To use, place the lid on top of a filled GN1/6 container, ensuring it sits evenly across the rim. The lid can be removed by lifting one edge and peeling it back. No tools or adjustments are required, and the same lid can be reused repeatedly.

Constructed from polypropylene, the lid meets HACCP hygiene standards for food contact materials. Its temperature range of -40 to 95 °C allows it to be used in freezers, refrigerators and ambient storage, but excludes high-heat applications.

The lid measures 176 mm by 162 mm, matching the external dimensions of a GN1/6 container. Its compact size makes it easy to store when not in use, and the material can be cleaned with standard kitchen sanitising procedures.

This lid is compatible with all GN1/6 Gastronorm containers, regardless of brand, provided they follow the standardised dimensions.
