Accessory for hot dog grill HENDI 268568

A transparent glass cover encloses the hot dog grill while it operates, shielding sausages from airborne particles and accidental contact. The sealed space traps heat close to the food, raising the temperature around the sausages without increasing the grill's power setting. This concentrated heat shortens the cooking cycle, letting the operator turn out batches faster during service.

The operator lowers the cover over the loaded grill and leaves it in place until the sausages reach serving temperature. The clear glass lets customers see the food while it cooks, turning the grill into a merchandising display that draws attention. When the batch is ready, the cover lifts off for easy access to the sausages.

The cover is made of tempered glass set in a metal frame. It weighs 2.5 kg, which keeps it stable on the grill but light enough to lift with one hand.

By containing the heat, the cover reduces the electricity the grill draws to maintain cooking temperature, cutting energy use during long service periods.

The cover is designed to fit the HENDI N282724 hot dog grill only.
