A warming cabinet keeps plated food at serving temperature without drying or overcooking. The Neumarker Warming Cabinet 60 uses an electric element to heat the air inside a sealed chamber. A thermostat cycles the element on and off, maintaining the set temperature evenly across every shelf. Because the heat is gentle and radiant rather than forced, moisture stays in the food, preventing the skin on roasts or the glaze on vegetables from cracking.
The operator loads the plates onto the adjustable-height portional board, closes the door, and sets the thermostat anywhere between 0 °C and +85 °C. Once the temperature is reached, the cabinet holds it until the food is needed. The door seals tightly, so the heat stays inside and the kitchen stays cool. A single power switch starts the cycle; no further attention is required until the plates are removed.
The exterior and interior are made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The portional board is also stainless steel and can be repositioned to accommodate taller dishes or stacked plates. A single door with a full-length handle provides access to the entire chamber.
The thermostat control sets the temperature from 0 °C up to +85 °C, covering everything from gentle warming to holding hot food above the danger zone. The 0.75 kW power rating means the cabinet draws a modest load, suitable for a standard 230 V circuit without overloading the kitchen's supply. The 33 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by two people or on a trolley, while the 450 mm width and 510 mm depth fit neatly under most worktops or on a counter. The 855 mm height leaves clearance for overhead cupboards.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth, and the portional board can be removed for thorough washing. The door seal should be checked regularly to ensure it remains tight and free of food debris.
The Warming Cabinet 60 is designed to hold approximately 55-60 plates of 320 mm diameter, making it suitable for medium to large service volumes. It is categorised under warming and holding equipment in the Neumarker professional catering range.
