A cabinet plate trolley keeps hot or cold plates organised and ready for service without taking up worktop space. The unit stands on a sturdy frame and rolls on multidirectional wheels so staff can move a full load of plates from the wash-up area to the pass or from the hot cupboard to the plating station in one trip. Because the plates are stored vertically on slotted grids, air circulates freely around each one, speeding up drying or cooling and preventing condensation that can make plates slippery or mark them with water spots.
The operator loads the trolley by sliding each plate into a grid slot, starting at the back and working forward. Once the grids are full, the four Plexiglas doors close to keep plates secure while the trolley is moved. Side handles give a firm grip, and two of the 125 mm wheels lock to hold the trolley steady during loading and unloading. When service begins, staff open the doors and remove plates as needed, working from the front to avoid reaching over clean plates.
The supporting structure is plastic-coated steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The frame is anodised aluminium, chosen for its light weight and strength, while the grids come in either chrome-plated or painted finish. Perfex panelling forms the sides and back, and the Plexiglas doors are hinged for full access.
The trolley's footprint of 75 cm by 78 cm fits through standard kitchen doorways and alongside worktops, while the 183 cm height allows plates to be stored above floor level, reducing bending. The 100 kg weight means two people are needed to lift the trolley over steps or kerbs, but once on its wheels it rolls smoothly on hard floors.
Cleaning is straightforward: the Plexiglas doors wipe down with a damp cloth, the grids lift out for separate washing, and the plastic-coated steel and Perfex surfaces can be sanitised with standard kitchen sprays. The anodised aluminium frame resists corrosion and needs only a wipe to stay clean.
Two versions are available: one with chrome-plated grids and one with painted grids.
