A cabinet plate trolley keeps hot or cold plates organised and ready for service without crowding the worktop. The unit stands on a sturdy frame and rolls on multidirectional wheels, so staff can move a full load from the wash-up area to the pass in one trip. Plates rest on adjustable grids inside a closed cabinet; the Plexiglas doors keep them clean and reduce heat loss or condensation while still letting the operator see the contents at a glance.
The sequence is simple: load the plates onto the grids, close the doors, unlock the brakes, wheel the trolley to the point of use, lock the brakes again, and open the doors to unload. Side handles give a firm grip for pushing and pulling, and the two braked wheels prevent the trolley from rolling away on a slope or when nudged.
The supporting structure is plastic-coated steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The frame is anodised aluminium, chosen for its light weight and strength. Inside, the grids are available in chrome-plated or painted finish; both finishes resist scratching and tarnishing. The doors are made of clear Plexiglas, which is shatter-resistant and allows a quick visual check of the load without opening.
The trolley holds up to 88 plates with diameters between 18 cm and 23 cm. Its footprint of 75 cm by 78 cm fits through standard kitchen doorways and service lifts, while the 183 cm height keeps the top shelf within easy reach of most staff. The 100 kg weight reflects the robust construction; once loaded, the trolley remains stable and does not tip. The wheels are 125 mm in diameter, large enough to roll smoothly over small gaps and floor joints without jolting the plates.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the plastic-coated steel and aluminium surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The Plexiglas doors can be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to maintain clarity. The grids lift out for separate cleaning if needed, and the wheels should be checked periodically for debris that could impede movement.
Two variants are available: one with chrome-plated grids and one with painted grids. Both fit the same trolley frame and offer the same capacity and dimensions.
The trolley is catalogued under mobile serving and storage equipment for professional kitchens.
