A hot milk dispenser keeps milk at serving temperature without scorching or skinning. The porcelain pot sits inside a heated water jacket. An element warms the water, which in turn transfers gentle, even heat to the milk. This indirect method prevents hot spots and maintains a consistent temperature across the entire volume, so every cup poured is the same warmth and texture.
To use the dispenser, fill the porcelain pot with up to 4 litres of cold milk. Set the adjustable thermostat anywhere between 40 °C and 80 °C, depending on whether the milk is for tea, coffee or warm drinks. Once the desired temperature is reached, the safety thermostat cuts the power to prevent overheating. The milk stays ready for hours, and the porcelain sign with its metal chain can be hung on the spout to show the contents.
The pot and jacket are made of porcelain, chosen for its smooth, non-reactive surface that does not alter the taste of milk. The outer casing is stainless steel, giving a sturdy, easy-to-clean finish. The adjustable thermostat is mounted on the front panel, with a clear scale for precise setting.
A 0.6 kW power rating means the unit draws a modest load, suitable for a standard 230 V circuit found in most professional kitchens. The 4 litre capacity allows a steady supply of hot milk without constant refilling, while the 290 x 260 x 390 mm footprint fits neatly on a worktop or counter. At 7 kg, the dispenser is light enough to move when needed but stable enough to stay in place during service.
Cleaning is straightforward: the porcelain pot lifts out for washing, and the water jacket can be drained and wiped down. The stainless steel exterior resists stains and can be sanitised with standard kitchen cleaners. The adjustable thermostat should be checked periodically to ensure it remains accurate, and the safety thermostat should be tested to confirm it cuts power if the temperature rises too high.
This model is the 4 litre version, designed for medium-volume use in cafés, tea rooms and catering operations where hot milk is served throughout the day.
