A pastry warming showcase keeps delicate baked goods at serving temperature without drying them out. The Cube 3 uses a low-wattage heating element beneath the base to create a gentle, even warmth that rises through the cabinet. This method prevents the crust from hardening while the interior stays soft, making it suitable for croissants, brioches and similar pastries that lose texture when exposed to direct heat or forced air.
The operator loads the stainless-steel shelves through doors that open 170° on both the front and back, allowing self-service from either side. A water tray beneath the heating element adds moisture to the air, maintaining humidity levels that keep pastries fresh for hours. The thermostatic control, adjustable between 30 °C and 90 °C, lets the user set the exact warmth needed for different products. Once the temperature is selected, the pilot light confirms the unit is active, and the on/off switch starts or stops the heating cycle.
The cabinet is built with a polished stainless-steel frame and 35x35 mm vertical columns for stability. Shelves measure 300 x 310 mm, providing space for standard pastry trays, and each compartment has a height of 150 mm to accommodate taller items. Side and top panels are made of tempered glass—4 mm thick for the sides and 5 mm for the top—with rounded corners for safety. Doors are 4 mm polycarbonate, offering visibility while resisting scratches and impacts.
A power rating of 0.4 kW means the unit can run on a standard 13 A plug, avoiding the need for a dedicated circuit in most professional kitchens. The 230 V voltage matches the UK mains supply, ensuring compatibility with existing electrical setups. At 13 kg, the showcase is light enough to move between worktops or storage areas without specialised equipment. Its compact footprint of 370 x 370 mm allows it to fit on counters or trolleys where space is limited, while the 540 mm height provides ample display volume without overwhelming smaller setups.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel shelves and frame with a damp cloth, while the glass panels can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner. The water tray should be emptied and refilled regularly to prevent mineral build-up. Polycarbonate doors can be cleaned with mild detergent, avoiding abrasive pads that could scratch the surface.
The Cube 3 is categorised under pastry warming equipment in the Neumarker professional range.
