An o-ring creates a pressure-tight seal between two mating surfaces inside a coffee machine. This green FKM o-ring is placed in a groove where the brew group meets the boiler or the water circuit. The brew group is reassembled, ensuring the o-ring sits evenly without twisting. Once the machine is reconnected and tested, the seal is confirmed by watching for leaks during a brew cycle.
