A nylon cylinder brush removes residue from the inside of pipes, tubes and cylindrical housings without scratching metal or plastic surfaces. The bristles flex around curves and into grooves, dislodging grease, scale and food particles that a cloth or sponge cannot reach. The brush is rotated by hand or with a low-speed drill, drawing the bristles along the full length of the cylinder to lift debris evenly.

To use, the operator selects a brush whose diameter matches the bore of the tube or pipe. The brush is inserted into the opening and turned steadily, working from one end to the other. On longer runs, the brush is withdrawn, cleaned and re-inserted until the entire surface is clear. The nylon bristles are stiff enough to scrub effectively yet soft enough to avoid damaging seals, gaskets or polished surfaces.

The brush is constructed from a single row of nylon filaments set into a twisted wire core. This core gives the brush its shape and allows it to be attached to a handle or power tool. The 20 mm diameter is sized for common catering equipment such as steam wands, drain pipes and mixer attachments.

Regular use prevents build-up that can harbour bacteria and shorten the life of equipment. After each use, the brush is rinsed under warm water and left to dry thoroughly before storage to maintain bristle stiffness and prevent mould growth.
