A milk frother heats and aerates milk by forcing steam through a wand into a jug of cold milk. The steam raises the temperature while the tiny bubbles stretch the proteins, creating a smooth microfoam that holds its shape for latte art and gives hot drinks a creamy texture.
The operator fills a stainless-steel jug with chilled milk, places it under the wand, lowers the wand tip just below the surface, and opens the steam valve. As the milk warms, the wand is gradually lowered to introduce more air until the desired volume and consistency are reached. The valve is then closed and the jug removed.
Construction is a compact black housing that fits on a worktop or under a counter. The unit is supplied complete, ready to connect to an existing steam supply.
Cleaning follows the steam wand after every use: purge the line, wipe the tip, and soak the wand in hot water to remove milk residue before the next service.
