A microswitch is the safety and control component that opens or closes an electrical circuit the instant a moving part reaches a set position. The LF Microswitch Electrica NR48W5 is a single-pole changeover unit rated 16 A at 250 V. One normally open and one normally closed contact allow it to either complete or break a circuit depending on the position of its actuator. The operator presses, releases or tilts the actuator; the switch responds instantly, sending the signal that starts, stops or diverts the current.
