A flat green lamp cap keeps the control panel of IME OMNIWASH dishwashers and glasswashers illuminated. The cap covers the indicator bulb that signals power, cycle status or fault conditions. When the bulb is lit, the coloured cap diffuses the light evenly across its surface, making the signal visible from a distance in a busy kitchen.

The cap itself is a simple press-fit component. It has no moving parts or electrical connections; it clips over the bulb holder and stays in place by friction. The green colour is chosen to stand out against the stainless-steel fascia of the machine, ensuring the operator can see the status at a glance without interrupting workflow.

To replace the cap, the operator first isolates the machine from the power supply. The old cap is gently prised off the bulb holder with a flat tool, taking care not to damage the bulb or the holder. The new cap is aligned with the holder and pressed firmly until it clicks into place. Once the power is restored, the new cap will diffuse the bulb's light in the same way as the original.

The cap is moulded in a durable plastic that resists the heat and moisture inside the machine. Its flat profile prevents dust from settling on the illuminated surface, so the signal remains clear over time. Because it is a press-fit part, no tools are needed for installation beyond the initial removal of the old cap.
