The Novameta HNCD 1400 is a central island ventilation hood designed for commercial kitchens. This type of hood operates by drawing air, along with cooking vapours and grease, upwards from the cooking area and expelling it from the kitchen.

This process is facilitated by a fan system, which creates negative pressure above the cooking appliances. The air is pulled through a series of filters, typically designed to capture grease particles, before being exhausted. The capacity of 2700 m3/h indicates the volume of air the unit can extract per hour, contributing to a cleaner and safer working environment by removing heat, steam, and airborne contaminants.

The HNCD 1400 features integrated LED lighting to illuminate the cooking surface below, aiding visibility during food preparation.
