An inlet arm connects a fluid source to a pump, drawing liquid through a sealed pathway without air leaks. The arm's rigid construction prevents collapse under suction, while its smooth bore reduces turbulence that could disrupt priming or introduce air bubbles into the system.
To install, the operator attaches one end of the inlet arm to the pump's intake port and submerges the opposite end in the liquid reservoir. A strainer or foot valve is often fitted at the submerged end to block debris that could damage the pump. Once connected, the arm channels the fluid directly into the pump housing, where an impeller or diaphragm pressurises it for onward delivery to taps, dispensers or cleaning circuits.
The LF inlet arm is manufactured to match the port dimensions and sealing requirements of FLOJET pump models 6112100738, 21000738 A and 22000006 A. Its compatibility with these units allows direct replacement without modification, restoring the original flow path and suction performance.
Regular inspection for cracks, kinks or worn seals maintains the arm's airtight seal and prevents suction loss. When the arm shows signs of wear, it is replaced as a single unit to preserve the integrity of the fluid transfer system.
