280x500 mm
A semi-professional induction hob draws power only where the pan sits, turning the base into the heating element itself. The generator beneath the ceramic surface creates a high-frequency magnetic field that induces eddy currents in ferromagnetic cookware. These currents meet the metal's resistance and generate heat directly in the pan, so energy is not wasted heating the air or the hob surface. The method gives instant response when the power is adjusted, and the hob stays cool to the touch outside the pan area, reducing the risk of burns and making spills easier to wipe away.
The operator places a compatible pan on one of the two 280 × 500 mm zones. The hob senses the pan size automatically and lights the corresponding area of the ceramic glass. A touch-sensitive stainless-steel panel beside the zone sets the power level; the same panel calls up the boost function for rapid heating, the defrost setting at 44 °C, the simmer function at 94 °C, or the keep-warm setting at 70 °C. Once the programme is chosen, the integrated display beneath the glass shows the selected power or temperature. The hob maintains the setting until the pan is removed or the operator cancels the programme.
The hob surface is 6 mm ceramic glass, chosen for its strength and even heat distribution. The control panel is finished in brushed stainless steel, and the entire unit is housed in a generator enclosure measuring 420 × 700 × 900 mm. A single-phase 230 V supply powers both zones, each rated at 1.85 kW with a combined boost output of 3 kW. The footprint of 700 × 420 mm fits a standard worktop cut-out, and the 230 V connection matches the ring circuit found in most professional kitchens.
Cleaning follows from the smooth ceramic surface and the absence of open flames or exposed elements. After the hob has cooled, spills can be wiped off the glass with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The stainless-steel control panel is cleaned the same way, avoiding abrasive pads that could scratch the finish. The generator enclosure requires no routine maintenance beyond keeping the ventilation slots clear.
The model is supplied as a single unit with two induction zones and the generator enclosure. No additional variants are listed for this article.
