Very thin corpus (32 mm) with stainless steel frame. Glass ceramic coating.
An induction cooker transfers energy directly into the base of induction-compatible pans, heating the contents without a flame or a traditional heating element. A high-frequency electromagnetic field beneath the ceramic surface creates eddy currents in the pan's metal, generating heat precisely where it is needed. This method eliminates wasted energy, reduces ambient heat in the kitchen, and allows instant adjustment of power levels.
To use the stove, place an induction pan with a base diameter between 120 mm and 260 mm on the ceramic surface. The sensor controls detect the pan and activate the field. Adjust the power setting to the desired level; the stove responds immediately, heating the pan while the surrounding surface stays cool. The 2.0 kW output provides rapid heating for boiling, searing or simmering. When the pan is removed, the field shuts off automatically, conserving energy and improving safety.
The unit is constructed with a ceramic cooking surface set into a stainless-steel frame. Sensor controls are integrated into the front edge, allowing touch operation without knobs or dials. The compact footprint of 295 mm by 400 mm fits easily on a worktop or counter, while the low height of 42 mm keeps the cooking surface at a comfortable working level. At 2.87 kg, the stove can be moved by one person and stored in a cupboard when not in use.
A 230 V supply is required, matching the standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens. The 2.0 kW power rating indicates the load on the circuit; ensure the wiring and fuse are rated accordingly to avoid tripping. The maximum permissible oven load of 15 kg means the stove can support large stockpots or braising pans without risk of damage.
Cleaning is straightforward: after the surface has cooled, wipe the ceramic with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The stainless-steel frame can be cleaned with standard kitchen sanitiser. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that could damage the sensor controls or the ceramic surface.
The HENDI induction stove is designed for use with induction-compatible pans only. It is placed in the catalogue under professional cooking equipment, induction hobs.
