This induction hob with a durable ceramic surface is the ideal choice for professional kitchens where efficiency, safety, and precise cooking control are essential.
2 cooking zones with a power of 5,0 kW
An induction hob transfers energy directly into the base of a pan using an electromagnetic field. The glass ceramic surface stays cool around the pan, so no heat is wasted heating the air or the hob itself. Energy is only drawn when a pan is placed on the zone, cutting electricity use and keeping the kitchen cooler during service.
The LADYQ 900 has two independent cooking zones, each controlled by a digital display and an electronic potentiometer. The operator selects the power level, and the display confirms the setting instantly. The hob responds within seconds, adjusting the field strength to maintain the chosen output. Pans are placed directly on the Pyroceram glass ceramic top, which withstands the thermal shock and mechanical load of professional use.
To start, the unit is plugged into a 400 V three-phase supply. The operator places a compatible pan on one of the zones and turns the potentiometer to the desired power. The digital read-out shows the level from low to full. When the pan is removed, the zone switches off automatically, saving energy. The second zone is operated the same way, allowing two dishes to be cooked at once or one to be held at temperature while the other finishes.
The entire structure is built from AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The glass ceramic top is sealed to the frame, preventing spills from reaching the electronics beneath. Control knobs and handles are made of heat-resistant material with a cool-grip surface, so they remain safe to touch even when the hob is running at full power. Four adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on a worktop or fitted into a modular cabinet of matching height.
A power rating of 2x5.0 kW indicates the load on the electrical circuit. The 400 V three-phase connection is standard in professional kitchens, where it supplies the current needed for high-output appliances without overloading a single phase. The 900 mm width provides space for two large pans side by side, while the 400 mm depth fits within the footprint of a standard worktop or modular unit. The 850 mm height matches typical under-counter cabinets, allowing the hob to be installed flush with surrounding surfaces.
Cleaning is straightforward: the glass ceramic top is wiped with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner after each service. The stainless steel frame and cabinet are cleaned with a mild detergent, avoiding harsh chemicals that could damage the Scotch Brite finish. The cool-grip knobs and handles are wiped down with the same solution, as they do not reach temperatures that bake on grease.
The LADYQ 900 is supplied as a single unit with the induction hob and neutral cabinet integrated. No additional modules or accessories are required for installation.
