An indicator light shows when a piece of catering equipment is switched on or running a programme. It mounts on the front panel and lights up as soon as the appliance receives power or begins a cycle. The green lens signals normal operation, letting kitchen staff see at a glance that the unit is active without opening doors or checking displays.
The light connects directly to the appliance's 240 V circuit. When the equipment is turned on, current flows through the indicator, heating the filament or energising the LED inside. The green cover diffuses the light so it is visible from across the kitchen, even under bright worktop lighting.
Installation involves wiring the indicator into the appliance's control circuit. The two terminals accept spade or screw connectors, securing the live and neutral leads. Once fitted, the light remains on whenever the appliance is powered, giving immediate visual confirmation that the unit is ready or in use.
This indicator is a spare part designed to fit LF catering equipment and other professional appliances that use a 240 V green status light. It replaces worn or damaged lights on hobs, ovens, fryers, grills and heated cupboards where the original specification matches.
The catalogue lists it under electrical components for professional catering equipment.
