The KP series ice makers are made entirely of stainless steel. They are top-class units within the Kastel range, equipped with the latest technology to ensure maximum efficiency and long-lasting performance.
Cooling system - water or air
Full ice cube 18 gr (33×30 mm)
This professional ice maker converts mains water into solid, slow-melting cubes for uninterrupted service. The KASTEL KP 50/25 chills water through a refrigeration system, then releases formed cubes into an integrated storage container for immediate use.
A compressor circulates refrigerant R290 across evaporator plates. Water flows over these plates in a thin layer, freezing gradually until cubes reach the correct thickness. The plates briefly heat to release the cubes into the bin below, and the cycle restarts automatically to maintain consistent output.
Operation requires connection to a water supply and a 230 V single-phase electrical source. The electronic control panel starts production with one press, and a status light confirms operation. After each cycle, the machine pauses to collect cubes before resuming until the 25 kg container is full or manually stopped. A front window allows staff to check ice levels without opening the door, minimising warm air entry and frost accumulation.
The unit features a stainless-steel body, selected for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in damp environments. Its dimensions—500 mm wide, 600 mm deep, and 795 mm high—enable placement under most counters or against walls in compact spaces. An optional water-cooling system is available for high-temperature or high-usage settings.
The control panel includes a power button and a start/stop button for production. An LED indicator shows whether the machine is freezing or harvesting, helping staff predict the next batch.
With a 50 kg daily capacity, the machine supports medium-sized bars or restaurants without frequent refills. The 25 kg storage container holds enough cubes for peak service demands. Cleaning involves emptying the container, sanitising interior surfaces, and rinsing the water system to prevent mineral deposits. The stainless-steel finish resists stains and can be polished for a professional look. If fitted, the water-cooling system requires periodic maintenance to avoid scale build-up.
A water-cooled variant is available for environments where air cooling may be insufficient.
The KP 50/25 is part of KASTEL's professional range, built for continuous use in bars, restaurants, hotels, and event services.
